What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sample Room Technician position at Point Blank Enterprises?
Essential Duties and Accountabilities
- Performs material cutting using hand industrial size scissors and Hand Cutting Machines to accurately cut various markers, unique samples and various re-sizing repairs.
- Operates Laser Cutter machine
- Read and Understand the trims sheets
- Operates the Hot knife machine to Cuts trims by their SCI code
- Be able to understand the SCI code and replenish sample room’s inventory accordingly
- Assists sewers by operating the grommets, button holes, bar tacking machines, etc.
- Assists with master samples management
- Assists with assembly and packaging
- Be able to print UPS labels to ship final products
- Monitor projects in Manager’s absence.
- Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.
- Maintains a safe and clean work area.
- Perform other related duties as required and or as assigned.
