***Eligible for Hybrid Work (up to 2 days per week) after Six months in the position***
Start time for this position may very between the hours of 7:45am-8:45am
In the Contact Center Specialist role, you will:
- Give prompt, efficient and accurate information in the processing of all transactions and inquiries by phone.
- Answer member inquiries in a professional manner by using the proper telephone techniques that are set by the department manager.
- Process and post member financial transactions including withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, wires, and official checks.
- Assist members with account research and maintenance items such as explanation of account history, payroll allocations, stop payments, check orders, change of address, online banking, bill pay etc.
- Deliver clear, concise, and professional written or verbal communications to both members and co-workers.
- Deliver sales and service excellence through referrals and campaigns. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge, predict, and recommend the appropriate products and services in order to improve the member’s financial lives.
- Ensure member’s records are maintained and updated appropriately in multiple operating systems.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of all plastic card processes and procedures. Must be able to complete all forms associated with card processing and fraud and the ability to order all types of plastics
- Maintain proper member confidentiality while handling or processing member information.
- Adhere to all credit union compliance requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) guidelines and regulations as explained and as appropriate for the position.
- Perform other operations related duties as assigned by Contact Center Manager or Assistant Contact Center Manager.
Minimum pay for this role: $18.06
Maximum pay for this role: $27.09
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED).
- One to three years of similar or related experience.
- Bilingual preferred
- General knowledge of credit union policies and procedures.
- Basic understanding of loans, payment processes, and interest rates.
- Excellent communication and public relations skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Positive attitude, enthusiastic, and communicates effectively.
- Good listening and telephone skills.
- PC Proficient.
Salary : $18 - $27
