About the role
We are looking for a strategic and dynamic leader to head our HEI Originations team in the U.S., overseeing Underwriting, Processing, Closing, and Funding operations. This role focuses on driving operational excellence by optimizing processes for efficiency and effectiveness while establishing customer experience standards that set us apart in the market. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and leverage your expertise in credit and asset valuation, mortgage operations, and title curative processes to support Point's strategic goals. Your Responsibilities :
- Lead the HEI originations team in the US that consists of Underwriting, Processing, Closing, and Funding teams.
- Deliver world class operational performance optimizing for effectiveness and efficiency.
- Establish customer experience standards that create market differentiation.
- Drive / support process improvements across the originations workflow in partnership with Product, Biz Ops, and vendors.
- Coach, recognize, and mentor the team to create a "play hard, collaborate well, and have fun environment".
- Support Point's strategic objectives through operational expertise in credit / asset valuation, mortgage, and the title curative fields.

Compensation at Point will be determined by skills, experience, and geographic location. Point has identified the expected annual base salary range for roles at this level based on market by tiers (Region | Location | Market Range) :
This does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, including equity, benefits, and perks outlined above. At the launch of each position, we benchmark compensation to the appropriate role and level utilizing competitive compensation data from various data sources as references. At the offer stage, we use the signal we received from our interviews coupled with your experience, location, and other job-related factors to determine final compensation.
