Job Description
The overall objective of the CNC Operator Trainee is to function as an effective and valuable member of the Point Eight Power Fabrication team by
helping & learning all activates concerned with producing parts by operating a CNC machine.
Essential Accountabilities
Assisting in the repair maintenance of the machines, as required.
Organizing completed parts for the next phase of manufacturing.
Completing works in process tickets to assure accurate inventory counts.
Performing necessary side operations during machine cycle time, such as pulling metal for next program, maintaining and sharpening tools, and replacing tools as necessary.
Maintaining a safe, clean, well-organized work area.
Developing competencies in order to become a 3rd class CNC machine operator

Less than 1 year of sheet metal fabrication experience, required.
