Job Description:
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in progressively responsible roles required, specifically in facilities management preferred.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with experience managing diverse teams, including skilled trades personnel.
- Exceptional organizational and administrative skills, including budgeting, quality assurance, and program evaluation.
- Experience developing bid documents and managing contracts for goods and services.
- Familiarity with Project Management Systems and Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and communication.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and commitment to advancing environmental initiatives.
- The ability to engage effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
- Knowledge and experience working with a diverse population is preferred
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing campus facilities programs for custodial, grounds, transportation, and waste management to ensure operational excellence.
- Developing long-range plans to improve services and address campus needs proactively.
- Creating and implementing policies for safety, preventative maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
- Supervising and mentoring staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Managing budgets for facilities programs and ensuring services are delivered within financial constraints.
- Coordinating with contractors and vendors for large-scale projects and monitoring quality assurance.
- Leading campus sustainability efforts, including planning events, supervising sustainability initiatives, and promoting eco-conscious practices.
- Acting as a liaison across campus departments to resolve operational issues and foster a customer-focused culture.
- Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement. In addition, staff agree to live in agreement with PLNU’sCommunity Life Covenant.

Physical Requirements:
- The work is primarily sedentary and may require sitting for extended periods of time.
