Lead daily operations, guide a talented team, and ensure efficient management of academic records to support the success of students and faculty.Salary : Pay range $25.62 - $26.62Internal Classification : Career Track - Professional; Job Level - 2Job Status : Full timeJob Description : What We’re Looking For : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.Experience in records, registration, or related fields.Supervisory experience with strong leadership and mentorship skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and database systems with impeccable attention to detail.Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a commitment to confidentiality.A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and values integrity, adaptability, and teamwork.Knowledge and experience working with a diverse population is preferred.What You’ll Be Doing : Overseeing Academic Records Specialists, ensuring quality performance, and supporting professional growth.Coordinating daily operations, including academic progress audits, grade changes, and registration processes.Collaborating with departments to maintain accurate records, academic catalogs, and federal reporting data.Supporting training initiatives, developing policies, and fostering interdepartmental communication.Managing commencement activities, including degree posting and diploma processing, to celebrate student achievements.Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.Experience in post-secondary records, registration, or closely related areas, including supervisory responsibility preferred.Understanding of, or aptitude to grasp quickly, PLNU's academic policies and procedures.Computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google Suite including accurate data entry and understanding of computerized databases and reporting systems.Understanding of and commitment to the spiritual mission of the university.Aptitude to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; strong grammatical and spelling skills.Ability to be a self-starter, work independently, and complete tasks in a timely manner under deadlines.Strong time management, organizational skills, and the capacity to use independent judgment in prioritizing tasks while experiencing frequent interruptions.Ability to exercise important interpersonal skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with students, faculty, and staff with a professional demeanor.Strong aptitude to take direction and work effectively as a supportive, positive, and cooperative team member.Able to exercise adaptability, integrity, and patience in all situations.Impeccable attention to detail.Capability and commitment to maintain strict confidentiality in all matters.Capacity to employ creative problem solving skills to complex situations.Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement.
