The Fermanian School of Business (FSB) is an ACBSP accredited "Best Practice" school with approximately 900 students across traditional undergraduate degrees in business, and graduate and adult undergraduate degrees in both business and leadership. Our FSB guiding principle is "more than the bottom line." FSB is highly collaborative and supportive of scholarship activities. Our traditional undergraduate majors include management, marketing, accounting, finance, information systems, and international development. The FSB also offers an evening MBA program for experienced professionals, an early career MBA program for recent graduates, and both online and face-to-face Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (MAOL) degrees. In addition, the FSB offers both online Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership (BAOL) degrees, and partners with local community colleges to offer face-to-face 2 2 BBA and BAOL degrees.

Job Description :
This position includes administrative duties for the FSB Graduate and Professional Studies (GPS) programs along with teaching in an area of expertise that can include management, leadership or marketing. The professor must have knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques appropriate to be effective with undergraduate and graduate teaching. They are also expected to have knowledge of ways to instruct, manage, motivate, and evaluate students and do the following :
- Work as a team with the FSB deans and staff.
- Oversee the FSB GPS programs that include Graduate and Accelerated Undergraduate (MBA, MAOL, BBA, BAOL).
- Supervise the work of the GPS Program Coordinator.
- Hold regular office hours at Mission Valley during key times for staff supervision, student engagement, and meetings as needed.
- Schedule and present program information to new GPS students at orientations held each semester / quad.
- Document student complaints in GPS courses and with the dean to determine appropriate responses.
- Develop and support student events and activities, including overseeing GPS graduation activities to include Delta Mu Delta Honors and Student of the Year, assisting with identifying and coordinating corporate visits, and identifying changing needs and developing and implementing events and activities as needed.
- Assist the Dean in supporting GPS faculty needs, including scheduling and presenting to GPS faculty at kick-off meetings, assisting faculty in documenting cheating, behavior or other incidents in GPS courses as needed, and working with the Dean to recruit adjunct faculty as needed.
- Oversee the GPS programs curriculum, chair the Graduate Curriculum Committee, support the Deans with monitoring the programs KSFs and related data, and work with the Deans to identify needed curricular changes and improvements.
- Explore opportunities to grow the GPS programs, including new programs, collaboration with other programs, and certificates.
- Coordinate with Student Success and the Records office to support students with course planning, registration, approval or denial of course petitions, and other related issues.
- Coordinate with Career Services for GPS events and services.
- Coordinate with GPS marketing and admissions, developing and maintaining relationships with the GPS admissions and enrollment teams, communicating the value of the programs to prospective students, and growing and developing relationships with community colleges.
- Attend and present at admissions events, support the admissions process and interview prospective students, review and approve all GPS marketing materials, support Admissions / Enrollment Counselors with class visits and presentations, and monitor enrollment goals.
- Coordinate the social media efforts for the GPS program.
