Salary :
PLNU pays its faculty using a payscale based on experience and academic rank. Faculty salaries using this scale for a 2-semester appointment range from $69,630 to $113,916. The actual salary will be based on the experience, rank, and appointment term of the candidate selected to fill this position.
The Fermanian School of Business (FSB) is seeking candidates for a full-time tenure-track teaching position in Accounting. The University is seeking an individual capable of excellent teaching, committed to significant involvement with students both within and outside of the classroom, and interested in participating in the academic unit's service learning and / or undergraduate research programs.
The Fermanian School of Business has a strong commitment to quality teaching, a passion for building a Christian community with students, a tradition of high-impact academic practices, and experience in using our skills for collaborative and interdisciplinary work.
Responsibilities begin August 2024 and will include teaching a wide variety of courses in Accounting.

Job Description :
Accounting faculty must have knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques appropriate to effective undergraduate and graduate teaching. They are also expected to have knowledge of ways to instruct, manage, motivate, and evaluate students and do the following :
- Provide instruction in the area of undergraduate and graduate accounting in online and face-to-face modalities
- Successful candidate will work strategically with diverse colleagues, students, parents, and community members.
- Engage in personal scholarship and scholarship with students (where possible)
- Advise students academically, spiritually, and socially
- Participate in departmental activities and governance
- Serve on university faculty committees / working groups and perform other normal faculty duties
- Contribute to preparing students for their post-graduate career and finding who they are called to be
