Job Summary :
Do you have a passion for young children and college students ? The ECLC Transition Teacher is an opportunity to engage in a Laboratory setting working with young children and coaching college students .
The Transition Teacher works with other team members to create an environment that is stimulating and engaging for both children and university students .
Salary :
Pay range $ 18.34 - $19.81 per hour

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 12 : 30-5 : 00
Tuesday, Thursday 12 : 30-3 : 00
Anticipated assignment through March 2025

Job Description : RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise lunch time for 3 year old and 4 year old children
- Get nap room ready for nap
- Supervise outdoor time for 3 year olds and 4 year olds
- Keep confidentiality and professionalism at the highest level
- Monitor the field experience college students and teacher aids during all indoor and outdoor activities
- Guide college students in their daily interactions with children at the ECLC
- Supervise nap time for 3 year olds and 4 year olds
- Overseeing children's activities after nap
- Report concerns to the ECLC Site Director
QUALIFICATIONS
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing and sitting, both in chairs and on the floor, for periods greater than one hour. Hearing and speaking to communicate effectively with young children, students, parents, and co-workers in person and by phone. Use of computer equipment : computer keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Vision to read documents, e-mail and other correspondence, and reports on paper and computer monitor. Will also stand, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout the day.
