Cannabis Consultant Job Description
Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
- Act as the dispensary's representative, greeting and assisting customers.
- Verify customers' legal age by checking identification documents.
Product Knowledge and Sales:
- Maintain extensive knowledge of available cannabis products.
- Provide recommendations and advice on cannabis products, ensuring proper dosage and safety measures.
- Facilitate sales transactions, ensuring correct cash handling.
Customer Service:
- Deliver excellent customer service, adhering to sales techniques provided by management.
- Achieve sales goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by management.
Retail Operations:
- Assist in retail activities, including stocking, inventory counting, delivery intake, merchandising, and displays.
- Ensure the dispensary is clean, well-organized, and complies with safety and security guidelines.
Compliance and Safety:
- Maintain safety and security standards.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Assist with management in various retail activities.
- Complete assigned duties, including stocking, counting inventory, assisting with delivery intake, merchandising, and displays.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
