Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure kitchen areas are consistently clean and organized.
- Maintain a prep list to optimize efficiency.
- Prepare menu items to meet customer demands.
- Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure consistency in products.
- Plan inventory for the next day's needs.
- Clean all equipment at the end of each shift.
- Foster strong relationships with front-of-house staff to guarantee guest satisfaction.
- Regularly update food diary records.
- Comply with Cove Communities and Point Sebago Resort policies at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes high-stress environment.
- Efficiently communicate with guests and colleagues at all levels.
- Able to stand for extended periods on feet.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in high-temperature kitchen environments.
