About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Leader to manage and grow our remote sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading and scaling high-performing sales teams within the medical diagnostics or pharmaceutical industry. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and implementing sales strategies, and managing all aspects of the sales process.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a small (and growing) team of remote sales representatives across the US.

  • Report directly to the C-Suite of the company.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to customer acquisition and retention.

  • Set and manage KPIs for the team around meetings, phone calls, email activities, and travel.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data using Salesforce to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Provide regular and constructive feedback to sales representatives to improve performance.

  • Conduct regular strategy sessions with individual sales representatives and the team as a whole.

  • Ensure strong follow-through on sales strategies and activities by the sales team.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including hospitals, clinics, and physicians.

  • Focus on growing utilization of our diagnostic within existing customer accounts through 1:1 relationship building with doctors and ongoing support.

  • Travel across the country to meet with strategic accounts and support sales representatives as needed.

  • Approve travel requests, PTO requests, and other managerial tasks.

  • Collaborate with our recruiters to grow the sales team to 50 over the coming years.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance within the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business

  • 10 years of experience in senior sales leadership within the medical diagnostics or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Proven track record of success in growing a sales organization, managing and scaling remote sales teams.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and the medical diagnostics market.

  • Experience in selling to hospitals, clinics, and physicians.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Salesforce and data-driven decision making.

  • Ability to travel extensively across the US.

  • Experience in growing a small sales team into a large one.

  • Strong focus on growing utilization of products within existing customer accounts.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $175,000 - $200,000 per year

  • Generous additional equity incentive plan based on performance
