Budget Analyst / Resource Advisor

We are seeking a Budget Analyst / Resource Advisor to support Headquarters Space Training and Readiness Command (HQ STARCOM) in Colorado Springs, CO.

An active TS clearance with SCI eligibility is REQUIRED.

A strong candidate has financial management experience with space mission areas. In this position, you will :

• Provide yearly financial execution support to HQ STARCOM and its subordinate units, enabling STARCOM awareness of financial position and ability to execute budgetary actions based on technical feasibility as well as financial and program performance.
• Provide direct financial management support to HQ STARCOM for RDT&E and O&M equities.
• Draft and review execution plans.
• Provide weekly financial reports.
• Build resource and cost models
• Inform RMCP related DOTmlPF-P
• Process / review purchase requests within the DEAMS and legacy financial systems.
• Provide travel reports from Defense Travel System to supported HQ directorates and Integrated Program Office.
• Provide financial analysis for current year and future year budgets.
• Support data calls from SAF / FM, HAF / TE and USSF financial offices.
• Brief USSF / TE leadership and HAF / TE on funding and execution status weekly.
• Coordinate with SPOs and other Government activities on funds execution, obligations / expenditures and CCaR System Reconciliation.
• Formulate other financial related documents that justify the funding requirements.
• Assist with POM options.
• Support data entry into and analysis of data generated by the Comprehensive Cost and Requirements System.
• Execute support in accordance with Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) protocols and standards.
• Brief senior leadership and decision makers through corporate processes.

Salary : $80,000 - $115,000
