THE OPPORTUNITY
Pointe is looking for a Manager of Marketing & Brand Strategy to support firm operations and our firm’s rapid growth. Our expectations for this role are high but empowering. You will have direct access to Pointe’s partners and key client decision-makers. Your ideas will be heard, and your thoughts valued. You will have an impact as you expand the firm’s market presence by shaping and executing marketing and business development initiatives.
Pointe currently operates in a highly flexible hybrid office model. This is a full-time salaried position based in Arlington, VA. Pointe offers industry-leading compensation, robust benefits, and schedule flexibility.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Manager of Marketing & Brand Strategy, you will lead strategic marketing and brand initiatives to strengthen our firm’s competitive position. This will enable Pointe to deliver even more Great Work to an expanded list of Great clients. More specifically, you will support Pointe Advisory’s marketing strategy, brand development, and client services:
Marketing
- Design and execute integrated marketing strategies that align with company goals
- Enhance brand visibility and thought leadership by building case study repository and participating in industry conference events on behalf of Pointe senior leadership
- Develop and manage marketing collateral, including proposals, presentations, and website content
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and refine strategies
- Provide guidance and leadership to junior Strategic Design/marketing staff
Brand Strategy
- Define, manage, and scale Pointe’s brand architecture strategy, ensuring appropriate application of brand
- Own the development, management, and maintenance of Pointe’s brand, core identity, tone of voice, and related guidelines
- Develop and refine strategic messaging and positioning to aid in creative development and brand amplification efforts
- Oversee the governance of brand properties, to ensure consistency and compliance with brand standards
- Provide strategic brand counsel to guide decision-making for marketing and communications campaigns and activations, informing project brief development and creative concepting
- Ensure consistency of brand voice, tone, and style across all channels and platforms. Monitor and assess brand health, equity, and perception; use market intelligence to inform, adapt, and refine brand strategies
- Keep a pulse on key market trends and insights, elevating new opportunities for Pointe's brand differentiation
- Lead brand research and gather insights to inform marketing and brand strategy
- Develop and refine methodologies for executing brand strategy initiatives, identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Lead and manage external strategic partners / agency relationships and creative development alongside the Pointe team
Client Services
- Develop strong relationships and strategic partnerships with existing and prospective clients and drive the growth of those relationships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and partnership
- Manage CRM to generate and track leads, sales pipeline, and opportunities to successful closure
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to client needs and deliver exceptional value
- Collaborate with leadership to set revenue targets and create actionable strategies to achieve them
- Positively contribute to the dynamic, high-achieving atmosphere of the firm

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field required with a clear track record of academic excellence (master’s degree preferred)
- Five to ten years of professional experience in enterprise marketing, B2B marketing, and/or brand development in a professional services environment
- Proven expertise in developing compelling messages and brand strategy
- Experience in developing and rolling out cross-functional strategies for brand implementation, management, and governance
- Demonstrated ability in analyzing data and translating insights into actionable strategies
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
- Excellent project management skills, including budget monitoring and timeline setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation abilities
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
- An aptitude for managing projects and prioritizing multiple work streams
- Ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders
