Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management and direction of the Nursing Department
- Nurture a compassionate environment and provide psychological support
- Identify patients' care requirements and act on them
- Administer workloads and work within a multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to the development of nursing policies and procedures
- Assist in recruitment, orientation, and training of nursing staff
- Develop and conduct in-service training classes
- Review nursing personnel documentation for accuracy
- Prepare for and participate in facility surveys
- Assist in managing, mentoring, and training nursing staff
- Develop and implement care plans and clinical operations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare standards
- Conduct patient rounds and address complaints
- Coordinate staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in nursing
- At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in healthcare software and electronic health records
- Active RN License & valid Utah or compact state nursing license
- Desire to become a leader in the industry
- The ability to speak Spanish a plus but not required
