Job Description
The Artist Programs Production Assistant reports directly to the Associate Producer of Artist Programs and works closely with the Artist Programs team. This role supports the setup, management, and day-to-day operations of a dedicated Artist Programs Fellowship from September 8-15 in Camden, Rockland, and Rockport. The Camden International Film Festival takes place from September 12-15, 2024.
This position can be done remotely for part of the contract period. On-site preparation and work the week of the annual festival as outlined below is mandatory.
*Candidate must have use of a laptop during the Festival.
*Must have a valid driver's license and use of their own vehicle
Compensation: $1,200
Reports to: Associate Producer of Artist & Community Programs

TIMEFRAME and COMMITMENT:
The hours provided are approximate, to be used as a tool for the contractor to estimate the time commitment needed to complete the work.
- August 26 - September 7: Attend Production and Artist Programs meetings; orientation to fellowships, attending fellows, and ROS per day (approx 10 hours total, remote)
- September 8-15: In person program support (approx 8-10 hours a day, in person)
- September 16-27: debrief survey and meeting (approx 3-4 hours, remote)
Responsibilities
- Attend AP Team meetings and 1:1 check-ins ahead of the fellowship as outlined above
- Support on-the-ground operations of Artist Program Fellowships
- Help to keep the fellowship programs running between mentor-led workshops and other group activities (meals, outings)
- Daily room setup for workshops (chairs, snacks, supplies)
- Meal coordination & delivery for fellows and mentors
- Transport guests or supplies between venues as needed
- Collaborate with the Associate Producer and Guest Experience Team to coordinate the transportation needs of fellows
- Assist with setup and takedown for dinners/gatherings and industry 1:1 meetings
- Assist with production of the Points North Pitch
- Collaborate with Special Events Team and Development Team to support AP events
- Interface with the Volunteer team
