POSITION SUMMARY:
This role involves working with Koenig & Bauer AG (KBA), a global leader in advanced printing technologies. As a KBA Press Assistant, you will support the KBA Operator while actively learning and mastering the printing process. The Operator will provide ongoing guidance and assess your progress as you develop the skills to operate machinery and evaluate finished products to ensure quality standards. One day shift and one night shift opportunity available.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide support to the KBA Operator, ensuring seamless workflow and operational efficiency.
- Operate the printing press with a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency.
- Adhere to job specifications with accuracy, completing tasks within established timeframes.
- Protects the health and safety of him/herself and other employees by always operating in accordance with internal Pointsmith safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy in all tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members to achieve operational goals.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance with a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
- Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass an Ishihara Color Blind Test
- Proficiency in basic computer applications
- Read and comprehend written instructions with clarity and precision
- Possess excellent command of the English language for effective communication
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Required to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
