Pointwealth Capital Management – Investment/Financial Planning Analyst

This position is for an experienced Investment/Financial Planning Analyst that is fully licensed (SIE, Series 7, 63/65 or 66). Compensation is commensurate with experience.

We are a boutique investment firm located in Encino and we serve clients across the country. This role will be under the CFA Portfolio Manager. Primary responsibilities include supporting the Portfolio Manager in daily investment operations, trading, research, and financial plan creation. This is a dynamic role and every day will be different. The analyst must have the ability to problem solve independently using our backoffice and extensive resources and communicate proactively when needing additional guidance.

Responsibilities:

· Support the Portfolio Manager in daily investment tasks including trading, research, and analysis

· Take a leading role in the financial planning process

· Demonstrate initiative and desire to increase knowledge of rules, regulations and concepts

· Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned or needed

Requirements:

• High proficiency with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
• Superior communications skills, both oral and written; effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well independently and within a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60K-$80K base salary with possible bonus.

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Financial Services: 2 years (Required)
• Financial Planning: 2 years (Preferred)
• Experience with eMoney (Preferred)
• Experience with Morningstar (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• SIE (Required)
• Series 7 (Required)
• Series 63 and 65 OR Series 66 (Required)
