Elementary: $88,800-$94,223
Middle School: $101,500-$109,508
High School: $117,500-$124,793
(increases are based on years of experience)
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree
A valid New Mexico Administrative License as required by the State of New Mexico
8 years experience in public school administration and supervision and/or teaching.
Exhibit professional conduct as per NM professional ethics.
Demonstrative professional competency as per NM Administrator licensure requirements.
Skills/Aptitudes:
Good organizational ability; good written and oral communication skills; ability to maintain high level of professionalism and confidentiality regarding students, staff, parents, and school matters.

- Responsible for student behavior on campus, handling cases up to and including recommendation for suspension or expulsion.
- Assigns and supervises all school activities to include lunch and busy duty.
- Maintains and supervises all non-instruction pupil records to include attendance.
- Manages the resources of the school including personnel, finances, and facilities.
- Stays current with the new school programs and practices through training and educational literature.
- Complies with all school board policies and administrative regulations.
- Completes required reports and communications throughout the year.
- Interviews and forwards recommendations to fill site vacancies as per district policy.
- Enhances public relations with community members, parents, staff and students.
- Oversees inventory of textbooks, supplies, equipment, forms, etc.
- Oversees and maintains the non-instruction equipment, supplies and machines necessary for the function of the school.
- Oversight and maintenance of the permanent furniture to ensure that they are in good working order.
- Attends Board meetings and provides information to the Board as requested.
- Supervises all staff attached to the school.
- Supervises all other resource and service personnel while functioning in assigned school.
- Forms and meets with or appoint individuals to meet with all committees (SAT,IEP, PAC, etc.) in a consistent and timely manner.
- Supervises extracurricular activities.
- Performs essential duties of other employees in the building including custodial, instructional, and secretarial.
- Performs other job duties as assigned.
