Job SummaryWe are seeking a creative and dynamic Content Creator and Social Media Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Operations Coordinator to execute AI-driven processes across various social media platforms, including Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and more. Your primary goal will be to build brand awareness and engagement, contributing to the growth of our user base and community.This is an hourly position with the potential to transition into a full-time role. You'll be working in a hybrid remote environment based in Austin, TX, reporting directly to the Operations Coordinator.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation : Develop high-quality written, visual, and video content that aligns with PokerSkill's brand and objectives.Utilize AI-driven processes to create and publish content efficiently across multiple platforms.Craft compelling stories and messages that engage our target audience.Social Media Management : Execute the social media strategy across platforms such as Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.Monitor trends, best practices, and algorithm changes to optimize content reach and engagement.Schedule, analyze, and optimize posts using social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.Community Engagement : Actively participate in online conversations, fostering genuine engagement without over self-promotion.Manage community interactions, respond to comments, and handle feedback professionally.Build and nurture relationships within the poker community on various platforms.Graphic Design and Media Production : Create visually appealing graphics, images, and videos using tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.Capture and edit photographs and videos that reflect brand aesthetics and engagement goals.SEO and Analytics : Incorporate SEO strategies into social media content, captions, and hashtags to improve visibility.Analyze content performance data to inform strategy and optimize future content.Campaign Execution : Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, including influencer collaborations and paid advertising.Stay updated on digital trends to ensure content remains fresh and relevant.Collaboration and Reporting : Work closely with the Operations Coordinator to align social media efforts with broader marketing goals.Provide regular reports on social media performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement.QualificationsExperience and Skills : Proven experience in content creation, with a portfolio showcasing written, visual, and video projects.Hands-on experience managing social media platforms and executing digital marketing strategies.Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and familiarity with video editing software.Knowledge of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices across major platforms.Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics.Understanding of SEO principles and ability to integrate them into social media content.Personal Attributes : Highly creative with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.Strong storytelling skills and ability to craft engaging narratives.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work quickly and efficiently, managing multiple projects and deadlines.Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and improvement.Adaptable, driven, and comfortable with agile methodologies.Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Education : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.Bonus Qualifications : Knowledge and interest in poker and gaming.Experience in community management and fostering online communities.Familiarity with AI tools and processes for content creation.Join Us : We'd love to hear from you if you're excited about making a significant impact at a growing startup and are passionate about content, community, and poker.
