What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Engineer position at POL Aptiv Services Poland S.A.?

Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support for Antaya on-glass connections product line, including pre-soldered and prefixed terminals, special cable assemblies, flat flex and braid assemblies, coax, wave, and button terminals and receptacles.
- Collect, record and analyse customer requirements, and communicating them to product and process development department.
- Set-up, monitor and troubleshoot process and equipment related issues on-site at customer sites.

- Provide technical support for the suppliers.
- Set-up, monitor and troubleshoot process and equipment related issues on-site at customer locations.
- Act as a validation engineer for Antaya product line.
- Conduct testing and preparation of test protocols.
Requirements:
- Engineering university degree – preferred fields: electrical, mechanical, material engineering, physics
- Familiarity with connection systems assembly production and testing methods.
- Understanding validation procedures for electrical connections
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- English proficiency
- Knowledge of quality management systems (IATF 16949)
