What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate HW PO position at POL Aptiv Services Poland S.A.?
Requirements:
- Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in Engineering
- Several years of professional experience in an international company, preferably in the automotive or electronics industry
- Cross-functional engineering experience, able to cover EE, ME, and validation topics, while interfacing with Systems, SW, manufacturing, and purchasing
- Strong focus on interpersonal skills – willingness to develop
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to solve problems - creativity
- Fluency in English
Your role:
- Ensure delivery with quality, on time, within budget of HW project
- Effective issues troubleshooting
- Reporting to internal and external customer
- Maximize design re-use
- Provide feedback and escalation
Key responsibilities:
- First point of contact (FPOC) from HW to the Region project team.
- FPOC from HW to Region and OEM customer on HW issues.
- Own and lead escalations of HW deliverables and issues.
- Follow and manage HW achievement plan. Coordinate with Engineering Project Lead and Project Manager and oversight HW milestones
- Drive HW KPI's (e.g. BOM, Requirements status, APA, FTE plan, reuse) to meet GES HW Management Operation System (MOS) targets.
- Review HW execution timing and root cause analysis response (Validation PCRs)
- Support application design deviations and lessons learned with the GPO platform team
- Represent HW in cross competency issues.
- FPOC from HW to the manufacturing team. Ensure the HW design is consistent with the manufacturing Bill Of Process (BOP) for the given manufacturing footprint. Resolve deviations as needed.
- FPOC from HW to the purchasing team.
- FPOC from HW to the validation team. Ensure test plaining, execution and issue management.
- Ensure project lessons learned are communicated across HW projects.
- Lead HW response to PCEs and for new business pursuits as per assignment.
- Maximize reuse platform
