DevSecOps Customer Solution Architect

As a leader in the DevSecOps team, the Customer Solution Architect will be responsible for the overall solution architecture and customer engagements for all joint solution and DevSecOps pursuits from Aptiv and Wind River, including Aptiv’s adoption of Wind River Studio into Aptiv’s solutions. The primary focus is the commercialization of Wind River Studio.

Your Role:

• Intimately involved in the formulation of the customer pursuit strategies and the commercial offers
• Build close relationships with all customer counterparts & decision-makers to maintain an understanding of customer's whole platform & tech roadmap and to influence decisions at the OEM CTO level
• Present and discuss the technical details of the solution architectures to internal/external senior management and subject matter experts
• Represent Aptiv DevSecOps at trade shows and symposiums to grow visibility of the offerings and thought leadership
• Analyze, structure and align system capabilities and features based on the customer requirements, including design alternatives in collaboration with cross-competency teams from Aptiv and Wind River
• Work with the broader organizations to incorporate Wind River Studio into all Aptiv Product offerings, acting as a stakeholder towards the Wind River and Aptiv products, providing insights on automotive end-customer needs and timelines
• Maintain strong knowledge of industry trends (e.g., EV, autonomous driving, industry 4.0, AI) and their impact on the customer's technical roadmap & purchasing behavior over the next 3-5 years
• Have detailed knowledge of Aptiv’s and Wind River’s current solutions (i.e. GPO Product Catalogue) and Roadmaps
   

  Your Background:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with 8 years of experience in solution architecture or systems engineering, preferably in the automotive or technology industry.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, embedded systems, and automotive software stacks, with experience in tools like Wind River Studio.
•  Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of automotive trends (e.g., EV, autonomous driving, AI) and familiarity with OEM technical roadmaps and decision-making processes.
•  Customer Engagement: Proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders, influence technical strategies, and effectively present complex solutions to internal and external audiences.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and utilization of relevant software tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and other planning tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and business requirements
