Expert Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities

• Research and implement state-of-the-art LLM and generative AI techniques for automotive applications

• Design and develop custom AI models tailored to specific business needs

• Fine-tune and optimize pre-trained models for domain-specific applications

• Create internal tools that leverage generative AI for engineering documentation, knowledge management, and technical assistance

• Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to identify opportunities for AI implementation

• Develop processes to evaluate model performance and ensure quality of outputs

• Stay current with the latest developments in generative AI research and recommend new approaches

• Document research findings, methodologies, and implementations for knowledge sharing

Qualifications Required

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field

• Strong hands-on experience in machine learning research or development

• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX)

• Experience working with transformer-based models and large language models

• Strong understanding of natural language processing techniques

• Proven track record of implementing and optimizing ML/AI models

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred skills:

• Experience with LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)

• Familiarity with automotive industry terminology, processes, or challenges

• Background in developing enterprise AI solutions

• Experience with vector databases and semantic search

• Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools

• Experience with multimodal AI systems (text-to-image, image-to-text)
