Your Role:
- Reviewing schematics, placement of components, layouts, and mechanical housings for Compliance to EMC Design Standards,
- Analysis of customer requirements, international and industry standards in the area of EMC,
- Reviewing EMC Test data (verification and validation) to assist in Root Cause and Corrective Actions,
- Mentoring, in terms of EMC, Personnel in Design Centers in regions,
- Supporting Product Teams in the development of EMC-robust Load Boxes/Simulators and adequate EMC Test Plans,
- Reviewing IC Level EMC Data for adequacy to meet product needs,
- Assisting Component Engineering in driving IC Level EMC Improvement at Suppliers,
- Lead in identifying updates for EMC Design Standard and providing EMC Trainings,
- Lead in improving Global EMC Design Processes, development & checking of automated EMC Review tools/scripts,
- Safeguarding the company's property, image, and public relations.
Your Background:
- Engineering degree (electronics, electrical engineering, or similar),
- 4 years of experience with Spectrum Analyzer/EMI Receiver and within hands-on EMC Lab Troubleshooting,
- Fluent English,
- Excellent Knowledge of Excel,
- Analytical approach to problem-solving,
- Team-oriented approach.
Nice to have:
- Understanding of EMC principles: automotive standards, regulations, and testing procedures,
- Experience in the automotive industry, laboratories, and other research and development areas,
- Experience with EMC for high speed communications links, signal and power integrity,
- Experience with Simulations for EMC (HFSS, SiWave),
- Experience in Switching Power Supply Design & EMC Compliance,
- Experience with Impedance and Network Analyzer,
- Basic knowledge of multi-layer PCB design & ECAD tools.
