What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expert Software Engineer position at POL Aptiv Services Poland S.A.?
We are looking for an Expert Software Engineer (Audio) to come and join us in Krakow, as we redefine audio technology in the development of products for some of the worlds most well know automotive brands.
Your role:
Design, develop, and optimize audio software components for automotive infotainment systems, including audio playback, audio processing algorithms, and audio management logic.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define audio requirements, specifications, and integration strategies, ensuring alignment with project objectives and customer expectations.
Develop audio software using C programming language and C programming language, leveraging their efficiency, versatility, and low-level control capabilities.
Apply knowledge of automotive product development processes and industry standards to guide the design, development, and validation of audio software solutions for automotive applications.
Ensure compliance with automotive-specific regulations, protocols, and standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
Implement and integrate automotive communication protocols and interfaces to facilitate audio data exchange and communication between audio components and vehicle systems.
Ensure compatibility and interoperability with industry-standard communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet for seamless integration and functionality.
Utilize multicore digital signal processing (DSP) engines and platforms to implement real-time audio processing algorithms and features, maximizing performance and efficiency.
Optimize DSP algorithms for parallel processing and resource utilization to meet stringent latency and throughput requirements of automotive audio systems.
Apply expertise in embedded systems design and development to architect and implement audio software solutions for resource-constrained automotive environments.
Design and optimize software for embedded microcontrollers and processors, ensuring reliability, stability, and scalability in embedded systems.
Your background:
MSc degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related
Embedded programming skills in C/C
Prior experience in designing and programming microcontrollers and processors
Very good knowledge of tools for programming microcontrollers and processors
Very good knowledge of SW engineering tools supporting software production process
Ability to speak, to read and to write English
Active drive license
