In the role of Full-Stack Developer you will be responsible for creating web applications that will transform and enhance our internal tools and processes. Together with the project team, you will be responsible for planning architecture, developing, testing and deploying applications on our cloud resources. You will take full ownership of the development process working closely with the project team to achieve your goals. You will be a key player in creating tools, that will allow other competencies within Aptiv to achieve their goals in a faster and more streamlined way.
Your Role:
We are looking for a Software Engineer who will take ownership of developing new web applications from inception until deployment
The main portion of your work will be developing new features for our internal software applications. To achieve this goal you will mostly use Python Django framework to handle backend, and lightweight frontend stack such as htmx and tailwind
In your role, you will also be responsible for supporting the deployment of the application on Azure and AWS servers and using docker for containerization
During your work week, you will be cooperating with the development team, project manager, product owner and various internal stakeholders to coordinate and achieve your objectives
Your Background:
Engineering degree, computer science background
At least 2 years of experience in creating and developing web applications using Django, Django Rest Framework, Flask or FastAPI
Good working Knowledge of back-end tools such as ORMs (Django ORM or SQLAlchemy), database management systems (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite). Experience with API development and authentication (OAuth, JWT). Good working Knowledge of front-end tools such as VueJS, HTMX, AlpineJS, Tailwind, Plotly and familiarity with templating engines like Jinja2 or Django Templates.
Experience in deploying applications on cloud platforms, utilizing Docker for containerization, NGINX for reverse proxying, and CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins to automate deployments and streamline workflows.
Good understanding and command of English (B2)
Experience in working to a schedule driven project
Ability to work in complex, matrix organizations for the benefit of the team
Analytical skills: Collecting and analyzing data from different sources
