What are the responsibilities and job description for the ITV Expert System Integration Test Engineer position at POL Aptiv Services Poland S.A.?
Your Role
- Developing, documenting and executing systems integration (HW/SW) tests (ASPICE level C-SYS.4) according to AS&UX standards.
- Provide technical and organizational directions for project members.
- Develop technical solutions of problems.
- Set up goals, plan, track and oversight in either technical or organizational area of projects.
- Define the test setup for System Integration (HW/SW) tests (ASPICE level C-SYS.4).
- Define and evaluates project technical means and resources.
- Defining test procedures and test cases.
- Developing automatic test environment and automatic tests (when required).
- Executing tests, creating test reports and reporting bugs.
- Executing vehicle tests (when required).
- Active participation in software systems test related reviews.
- Active participation in project meetings and in competency meetings.
- Keeping contacts with clients (when required) in the area of software development and software systems tests.
- Active participation in technical innovations and organization programs.
- Accomplishing tasks in accordance to AS&UX and TCK quality standards and schedules.
- Care for good company image.
- Permanent and regular developing of professional qualifications.
Your Background
- Msc/Bsc degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related
- At least 3 years of experience in Automotive Testing area
- Programming experience in CAPL/C
- Good knowledge of communication protocols used in automotive ( i.e. CAN, LIN )
- Good Knowledge of Vector tools
- Proficiency in Python
- Knowledge and experience in CI/CT would be beneficial
- Fluent use of spoken and written English
- ISTQB Foundation Level certificate
- Good knowledge in Diagnostics, Data logging and root causing in Automotive Systems
- Good understanding of automotive testing standards and norms
- Profound knowledge of test methodology and test automation
