What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shuttle Driver - Nights position at Polar Beverages?
Overview: Move product from one warehouse to another.
Responsibilities:
- Move shuttles in between warehouses.
- Pull loads from the dock to the yard when they are completed and the paperwork is finalized
- Take full recycle bag trailers to recycling plant
- Make sure the yard is neat
- Keep trailers organized and sort according to contents and probability of use
- Inspect trailers and equipment for defects and potential hazards
- Daily upkeep of the equipment
- Monitor fuel, oil and fluid levels and fill fluids when necessary
- Must understand the company’s commitment to food, safety, quality, and continuous improvement as outlined in the Polar Beverages Safety and Quality Policy and to understand the responsibility for carrying out the outlined principles as an expectation of the job.
- Must understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and to ensure GMP compliance of fellow employees.
- Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have valid CDL License
- Proficiency in the operation of Class A vehicles
