About the Role
We are seeking a Seasonal Field Coordinator to support the decommissioning of the NSF / B-ARO Greenland Inland Traverse at Pituffik, Greenland. In this role, you will be responsible for inventory control, equipment decommissioning, and packaging / disposal of materials. You will serve as the local point of contact for the project and assist with other science project support as needed.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough inventory of all project assets.
- Oversee the decommissioning and packaging of equipment and materials for transport or disposal.
- Coordinate with the Greenland Operations Manager and remote project managers to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Assist with other field support activities as required.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project. Qualifications :
- Required :
Experience with remote site and / or polar logistics operations
Experience with cargo packaging or shipment
