With a deep understanding of financial principles, they are a critical thinker who can interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights. This person is an effective communicator, capable of breaking down financial concepts to support decision-making at all levels of the organization. A leader by nature, this results-oriented professional is also adaptable, able to navigate changing business needs, and ensures compliance with financial regulations. As a trusted advisor, they build strong relationships with stakeholders, balancing financial oversight with a collaborative and approachable leadership style. Organized and efficient, this person takes pride in their ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and integrity in all financial matters.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Oversee financial reporting to ensure GAAP compliance
  • Analyze financial and operational metrics, providing recommendations
  • Monitor financial performance of customers, projects, and revenue streams
  • Manage budgeting, cost control, and cash flow
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes
  • Maintain relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and external partners
  • Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
  • Ensure compliance with ESOP regulations and government requirements

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software
  • CPA or CMA designation preferred
  • Bonus points for experience working with ESOP companies
