Duties
- Manage the admissions process for new patients, including gathering and verifying necessary documentation.
- Schedule medical appointments efficiently using Athenahealth or Eaglesoft systems.
- Review documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness before patient intake.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized records and files in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Assist with coding and clerical tasks as needed to support the admissions team.
- Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate with patients and staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate seamless patient transitions into care.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical scheduling software, specifically Athenahealth or Eaglesoft.
