Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Support individuals with disabilities by implementing care plans tailored to their specific needs.
- Perform patient observation to monitor health conditions and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and family members to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to follow care plans accurately and provide patient observation effectively.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs is essential.
