We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate nutritional needs and dietary preferences.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans that support weight loss, tube feeding, and other dietary requirements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in various healthcare settings, including geriatrics and long-term care.
- Educate patients and their families on nutrition-related topics, fostering understanding of healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes.
- Maintain accurate records within the dietary department systems to track patient progress and dietary interventions.
- Stay updated on current research and trends in nutrition and dietetics to provide evidence-based recommendations.
Skills
- Proficient in tube feeding techniques and patient assessment methodologies.
- Strong understanding of physiology as it relates to nutrition and health.
- Experience working with geriatric populations and knowledge of their unique dietary needs.
