Polaris Healthcare and Rehabilitation is a beautiful 100-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located on the campus of Milford Wellness Village in Milford, Delaware. We are searching for an experienced Recruiter who has the desire to effectively source and manage the recruitment process of nursing personnel.
Position Summary for the Recruiter:
The highly organized and enthusiastic Recruiter will manage our recruitment efforts for nursing positions in our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing highly qualified nursing professionals, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities for the Recruiter:
- Manage the recruitment of nursing professionals through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, industry events, career fairs, and local networking.
- Build a strong pipeline of candidates by networking and developing relationships with nursing schools, agencies, and other healthcare professionals.
- Screen resumes, contact candidates, and manage the interview process.
- Provide a positive and engaging experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact through to hire.
- Ensure that all candidates meet the necessary qualifications, licensure, and regulatory requirements for nursing positions in long-term care.
- Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS) and documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Partner with nursing leadership to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and team dynamics.
- Manage the development of recruitment strategies to address staffing shortages.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the Recruiter:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years of previous experience as a Recruiter for healthcare or long-term care facilities, preferably with a focus on nursing roles.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and licensing requirements for nursing staff.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools.
- A genuine interest in the long-term care industry and improving the lives of residents through quality care.
- Experience with high-volume or specialized nursing recruitment.
- Familiarity with healthcare job boards, professional networks, and recruiting software.
