Polaris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center located in Milford, DE, is searching for a full-time (Monday through Friday) Unit Clerk to join our team! This position works directly on the nursing floor with resident and family interaction.
Responsibilities for the Unit Clerk positon includes, but are not limited to :
- Managing a busy nursing station by answering the telephone and responding to resident and / or visitors questions.
- Coordinating follow up doctor appointments that may need to occur outside of the facility for the residents
- Maintain resident charts, assist unit manager with all clerical duties, telephone interaction, data entry and filing.
- This position works directly on the nursing floor with resident and family interaction
- Managing the filing / scanning of information into the medical chart for each resident
- Assists the unit manager with all clerical duties
Assists with organizing and maintaining paperwork in the resident medical chart
