Looking for a Level III Network Administrator that will serve an integral role in our Information Technology Department.
Responsibilities :
Daily administration, operation & documentation of physical and virtual server infrastructure environments.
Day-to-day network administration including security and patch management, user account management, M365 administration and applications support.
Proactively manage, maintain, and optimize server, network, security application and firewall systems.
Assist in integration and documentation of new applications and technologies.
Define and document best practices and support procedures; Train users and team members at the technical level in the proper use of hardware and software, as needed.
Interact with vendors at the technical level as required.
Build & install physical and virtual servers by providing technical configuration, setup, installation services, and coordination of application projects.
Participate in an afterhours rotating call schedule
Successful candidates will have :
High School Diploma / G.E.D required, plus five years minimum related experience with computers, servers and networks which includes providing customer service in a technological environment with a documented Microsoft Certification history.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to present ideas and communicate information in a user-friendly language and manner.
Experience with virtualization (i.e. VMware, HCI, Microsoft Hypervisor, etc..) and both physical and virtual server backup systems.
Understanding of daily tasks based on Microsoft technologies (Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, etc.).
Active Directory & Group Policies.
Microsoft 365 / Azure AD knowledge.
Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft, network security best practices and application of HIPAA rules and regulations to work tasks at all times
Requires demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
Requires demonstrated competency in implementing developed solutions and managing IT Server related projects.
The ability to work with the helpdesk / IT team to resolve user-related issues and requests.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable car
Schedule
Monday - Friday full time with rotating after-hours IT support schedule
