OVERVIEW
The Re-Packaging Technician is responsible for creating Re-Packaged products according to company and regulatory standards. Maintain clean and sanitized work areas within the Manual Re-Packaging room. Comply with all applicable SOPs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform label, drug product and material verification prior to the re-packaging process
- Complete all Batch Production documentation consistently and accurately
- Maintain Manual Re-Packaging room cleanliness and orderliness
- Create finished Re-Packaged product using Heat Sealer machines accurately and efficiently
- Maintain Manual Re-Packaging room cleanliness and orderliness
- Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA, FDA, DEA, OSHA, etc.
- Ensure the integrity of the drug supply chain through best practices
- Display behavior that exemplifies employee code of conduct guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred but not necessary
- Able to work at a moderate speed
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Able to work during inclement weather
- Reliable
- Good organization/Attention to detail
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that should be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
- May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
- The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently
- May be necessary to work extended hours as needed
- May lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

HOLIDAY & PTO POLICY
- Paid holidays are provided annually, with 6 days offered each year, along with 5 sick days.

Please note we are a long-term care pharmacy open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. And schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business.
