What are the responsibilities and job description for the DBT Group Facilitator (Independent Contractor) position at Polaris Teen Center?
POLARIS TEEN CENTER is an esteemed residential treatment center serving adolescents ages 13-17 with severe mental health issues. We are currently looking for an experienced LICENSED Marriage and Family Therapist, Psychologist or Clinical Social Worker experienced & certified in DBT to provide DBT Groups at our center. This position is an independent contractor position.

As a highly-focused teen treatment center, we identify the unique qualities of the child and adjust to their needs. At Polaris, our team believes in a different approach to recovery. We address teenage mental health disorders in a unique, mindful way; allowing adolescents to confidently begin the journey into the next chapter of their lives.
Clinicians preferred for this position should have experience/ knowledge working with families and kids/teenagers. Prior residential treatment experience is preferred. Clinicians should be licensed. Qualified applicants only please.

Responsibilities
- Provide Anger Management Group Facilitation
- Ensure client records for assigned case load were comprehensive and complete to meet licensing standards
Minimum Requirements
- Masters Degree or Higher in Psychology or Related Field
- DBT Certification
- Licensed Mental Health Professional (Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker or Psychologist)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
