Installs new HVAC units in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.Installs ductwork and thermostats to control HVAC system.Performs routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate properly.Inspects and troubleshoots problems with existing HVAC units.Installs replacement parts on existing HVAC units.Tests all completed work.Routinely keeps track of parts and supplies used on customer jobs and re-stocks inventory on service vehicleAttends daily staff meetings, safety meetings, and participates in ongoing training.Conducts daily maintenance and safety check of service vehicle; reports any repair issues to immediate supervisor.Properly maintains tools and equipment and reports any service / repair issues to immediate supervisor.Maintains inventory of replacement parts and orders replacements.Ensure compliance with company safety policies.Complies with company and industry safety standards.May be required to work overtime.Pursue every job with drive and determination.Performs other relevant duties as assigned by the needs of the business.Ensures that each job is performed according to company standards.Requirements
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.Ability to use power and hand tools.Ability to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate HVAC system.Ability to read operation and repair manuals / schematics for HVAC systems.Ability to follow instructions.Excellent mechanical skills.Excellent leadership skills.Excellent communication skills, as required to interact with customer.Ability to represent the company in a manner that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for others.Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent required.Vocational / technical school training or apprenticeship preferred.One to Two years of related experience preferred.Certifications :
