Position Summary:The SYEP Site Monitor is responsible for overseeing the well-being of Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP). Conduct and prepare written assessments on daily basis that reflect field observations. Collect, maintain and organize participant timesheets on a weekly basis. Site Monitors must travel from worksite to worksite via public transportaton daily. Act as a liaison between the participants, worksite and PAL. Communicate with the Program Supervisor (s) daily regarding program participants and worksites daily. Maintain participant files. Collect evaluations. Monitor participants' performance at worksites. Ensure worksites are providing a safe and supportive environment to youth assigned to the site. Report any issues. Distribute and collect all program documents as necessary. Assist with preparation of files for audit. This position requires traveling to main office in Queens. Attend all related meetings and trainings. Perform other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma Required
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment.
- Ability to serve as a strong role model, provide guidance to young workers, and mediate conflict as needed.
- Flexibility in schedule and some evenings/weekends may be necessary.
- Computer literate and competency in MS Word, Excel.
- Multi-tasker and exceptional communication skills a must.
- Possess strong supervisory, collaboration and organizational skills.
- Excellent writing skills required.
- Ability to navigate the New York City transportation system.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use appropriate discretion.
- Ability to work independently and to work as part of a team.
- Cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds
- Available to work through August 29, 2025.
- Bilingual a plus.
