We’re looking for an experienced Bar Manager to lead our taproom operations, ensuring
top-tier customer service, smooth bar management, and a fun, engaging atmosphere
that aligns with our brand.
Responsibilities:
Taproom Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring efficiency,
cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, and manage bartenders and support staff to
maintain high levels of service and teamwork.
Customer Experience: Cultivate a welcoming and engaging environment where
customers can enjoy a beer, cocktail, engage with our brand, and have a memorable
experience.
Beer Knowledge & Service: Educate staff and guests on our beer and cocktail offerings,
tasting notes, and pairings, ensuring exceptional product knowledge and service.
Inventory & Ordering: Manage inventory of kegs, cans, glassware, and bar supplies,
coordinating with brewers and vendors to maintain stock levels.
Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing brewery events such as tastings,
trivia nights, live music, karaoke and themed 90’s nights.
Marketing & Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotions,
seasonal offerings, and social media content to drive engagement and sales.
POS & Cash Handling: Oversee transactions, cash handling, and point-of-sale systems
to ensure accurate reporting and smooth daily financial operations.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to all state and federal alcohol laws, licensing
requirements, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 1 year in a bar management or taproom leadership role,
preferably in a cocktail bar setting.
Beer & Cocktail Knowledge: Strong understanding of craft beer styles, cocktails recipes,
brewing processes, and trends in the industry.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced
environment.
Customer Service: Passion for hospitality, customer engagement, and creating a
welcoming atmosphere.
Organization & Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, including
scheduling, inventory, and event coordination.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling software, and social media for
bar promotions.
Certifications (Preferred): SIPS & TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification, Cicerone
Certified Beer Server is a plus but not required.
