Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive service and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues. This role requires proficiency in working with schematics, performing auto body repairs, and conducting automotive diagnostics on both gasoline and diesel engines. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to identify mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and components for accurate repairs.
- Conduct diesel engine repairs as needed, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Execute powertrain repairs, including alignment and suspension work.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive service or as a mechanic is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various vehicle makes and models.
- Familiarity with auto body repair techniques is a plus.
- Experience with welding is advantageous but not required.
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics, including the use of diagnostic software and tools.
- Knowledge of powertrain systems and alignment procedures is beneficial.
