We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations.
- Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify issues using schematics and diagnostic equipment.
- Repair or replace defective parts, including components of diesel engines when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through ongoing training.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and auto body repair.
- Experience working with GM vehicles is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems.
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
