General Opportunities - Temporary Staff

PoliTemps is seeking sharp, political, PR, media, and public affairs temporary staff for a variety of assignments/clients in Washington DC and the metro area.

We seek candidates who are politically savvy and have experience in at least one of the following: campaigns, Congress, Executive Branch, or in a legislative capacity.

PoliTemps places candidates in temporary, temp to perm, and permanent positions.

Assignments fall within a range of duties and responsibilities, depending on candidates’ experience and the specific needs of the client.

Admin, clerical, research, legislative research and tracking, event and conference support, utilizing social media, web and content publishing, public relations, and media relations are examples of some of the assignments we have filled. 

Applicants must live in the Washington DC metro area, be open and flexible to a variety of assignments, and available to work 30-40 hours/week with our clients. You must be available for temporary assignments and currently not working in a permanent position or interning.

Political Science/Government/Communications majors are encouraged to apply.  Candidates with public relations, social media, public affairs experience are also encouraged to apply.

Our clients include blue-chip corporations, nonprofits, lobbying firms, political consultants, PR agencies, and a variety of other organizations in the Washington DC metro area.

Candidates must be comfortable in an office and professional environment, and adept with a variety of computer programs and software. Candidates must possess a “can-do” attitude and be eager to work.
