- Assists users in the day-to-day operation of Oracle Cloud; prepares training materials and user guides. Conducts training classes on system use.
- Plans, organizes, evaluates, or participates in the research, development, modification, testing, implementation, and operation of complex business system applications and reports.
- Understands workflow and procedures; recommends system design and configuration options and identifies potential areas for business system automation and integration.
- Responds to user requests for module functionality and reporting requirements; creates test data sets; preforms system module testing and data verification.
- Provide written and oral reports o Management, Steering Committees, Information Technology, and clients.
- Research system problems and errors; coordinates with technical staff, vendors, consultants, contractors and user groups in resolving issues and implementing new software, software patches, upgrades and updates.
- Performs functional analysis, requirements definitions, Oracle Cloud configurations and testing.
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Skills / Qualifications::
- Prefer a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in accounting and a minimum of 5 years related experience.
- Understanding of operations in conjunction with system processes and working knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Systems.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities related to software systems and business processes.
- Experience with Financials and/or Payroll systems as an analyst, power user or support analyst.
- Experience with implementing and using Oracle Cloud system.
- Ability to document business processes and prepare training manuals and operating procedures.
- Experience with analysis and reconciliation related to financials, and/or compensation, benefits or payroll accounting.
- Experience with and involvement in systems implementation and upgrade projects.
- Ability to modify, test, and debug modules, and reports.
- Ability to ascertain facts through testing and observation, analyze needs and procedures accurately and logically.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with peers and clients.
- A comparable amount of training, experience and education may be substituted for the minimum qualifications
- Ability to work cooperatively with other employees in the work unit and other departments.
- Ability to communicate well with people from varied backgrounds.
- Ability to research resource materials.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage work to meet necessary time requirements and workload.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and to remain calm in an anxious, intense environment.
