General Statement of Duties
The purpose of the Market Assistant is supporting the services at the Saluda Tailgate Market, Fridays between the months of May and October. The Market Assistant will be present on market days to assist the Market Manager with general market duties - set-up, breakdown, customer service and vendor engagement.
Minimum Requirements and Experience
❖ Be a minimum of sixteen years of age.
❖ Have a genuine interest in working with the public.
❖ Customer service experience is preferred.
❖ Must have reliable transportation to work.
❖ Successful pre-employment drug screen.
❖ Successful criminal background check.
Physical Demands
The ability to perform all duties associated with the position including, but not limited to lifting, prolonged standing, driving, sitting, bending, stooping, and operating or performing work with associated tools and machines.
