Youth & Family Practice Therapist

ABOUT THE JOB

As a member of the team, you would provide traditional Outpatient services to a population aged 18 and under, while representing the values of Polk County Behavioral Health; client focused, trauma informed, integrity, respect and collaboration. Clinicians typically specialize in working with a primary population of adults or youth and their families, while developing a professional range according to your interests. Clinicians should possess the ability to provide services to individuals with a variety of diagnoses: anxiety, depression, PTSD, bi-polar disorder, substance use disorders, and psychosis. Clinicians will utilize a variety of evidenced-based treatment models and perform a variety of community based treatment services.

WORK LOCATION

This position may be eligible for hybrid in-office/remote work as allowed by policy and approved by the supervisor upon completion of the employee’s trial service period.

BONUS ELIGIBLE

*Licensed candidates may be eligible for an additional 6% pay differential.

*Licensed MH providers who are also credentialed as a CADC may be eligible for up to an 8% pay differential.

*This position is eligible for a Commitment Bonus equivalent to 3 months salary with an agreement to stay with Polk County Behavioral Health for a period of at least 24 months.

This position may be underfilled with a MH Specialist I. Please refer to the classification specifications for details. 

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy or a behavioral science field;
• AND Credentialing as a QMHP or licensed as a LMFT, LPC, LCSW or PsyD;
• OR any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job.

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy or a behavioral science field;
• AND (2) years of experience in the behavioral health field post-graduation
• AND Credentialing as a QMHP or licensed as a LMFT, LPC, LCSW or PsyD;
• OR any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job.

Our Community:

Polk County is located in the Willamette Valley just an hour from the Pacific Coast to the west and an hour from Portland to the north. The population is approximately 87,000 and the county spans about 744 square miles, with two thirds of the western part of the county being forest. National protected areas include the Baskett Slough National Wildlife Refuge and Siuslaw National Forest.

Salary : $66,240 - $88,884
