Brief Description
**RECRUITING TO FILL TWO (2) POSITIONS**
ABOUT THE JOB
Polk County has a regular, full-time position available for a Masters Level Mental Health Specialist working on the Mobile Crisis Intervention Services team. This position will staff the walk-in Crisis Clinic in Dallas as well as provide mobile response in the community as part of a team of two, partnering with a Crisis Associate.
Crisis response services are committed to providing timely, trauma- informed support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. You will coordinate with fellow first responders such as local law enforcement, EMS and other system resources to create a plan to support the safety and well being of the individual in need as well as assisting individuals and their families to create a plan for referral and stabilization.
WORK LOCATION
This position’s assigned work location is located at our Crisis Services Office located in Dallas.
WORK SCHEDULE
The assigned schedule will be one of the following:
Shift 1: Sunday - Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Shift 2: Wednesday - Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
ADDITIONAL BENEFIT
- This position is eligible for a 4% differential in addition to the base salary.
BONUS ELIGIBLE
Licensed candidates may be eligible for an additional 6% pay differential.- Licensed MH providers who are also credentialed as a CADC may be eligible for up to an 8% pay differential.
- This position is eligible for a Commitment Bonus equivalent to 3 months salary with an agreement to stay with Polk County Behavioral Health for a period of at least 24 months.
UNDERFILL
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Mental Health Specialist I:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy or a behavioral science field;
- AND Credentialing as a QMHP or licensed as a LMFT, LPC, LCSW or PsyD;
- OR any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy or a behavioral science field;
- AND (2) years of experience in the behavioral health field post-graduation
- AND Credentialing as a QMHP or licensed as a LMFT, LPC, LCSW or PsyD;
- OR any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
- Must possess and maintain a valid Oregon driver's license and automobile insurance as a condition of employment.
