As our Employee Experience Specialist, you will own the entire onboarding process—from the moment a new hire signs their offer letter to the moment they walk in on their first day. Your mission is to create a seamless, engaging, and welcoming experience that ensures new hires feel like part of our team before they even step foot in the door. This role will work closely with People Operations, IT, hiring managers, and department leads to ensure every logistical and cultural touchpoint is covered.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires post-offer acceptance.
Coordinate all pre-employment requirements including I-9 verifications, background checks, drug screenings, and required compliance documentation.
Manage data entry and system setup for all new hires in HRIS and related platforms.
Ensure all new hire paperwork is accurate and completed in a timely manner.
Partner with internal departments (IT, Facilities, Operations, etc.) to ensure all equipment, email access, systems, and badges are ready prior to the new hire’s first day.
Develop and deliver pre-boarding communications to foster engagement and connection with company culture.
Maintain compliance with employment laws and internal policies throughout onboarding process.
Create a first-day agenda, assist with orientation and facilitate a smooth handoff to the hiring manager and training team.
Continually evaluate and improve onboarding practices to deliver best-in-class experiences.
Serve as an enthusiastic brand ambassador, exemplifying our culture and core values in every interaction.
What We Are Looking For:
2 years of experience in onboarding, HR coordination, or talent operations (construction or field-based environment a plus).
- Bilingual: Spanish & English

Strong knowledge of employment documentation and compliance standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Tech-savvy with experience using HRIS systems and collaboration tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
